Terms of Service
Welcome to Vallio! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and GameSetPickle, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Vallio”) governing your access to and use of the Vallio Services.
The Vallio Services include:

The consumer mobile apps (iOS and Android)

The enterprise platform (web, iOS, Android) for venues, clubs, and organizations

Companion watch apps (Apple Watch, Wear OS, and future Garmin)
-
Scoreboard/TV apps (Apple TV, Roku, etc.)
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any part of the Vallio Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Vallio.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, you must have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use Vallio and agree to these Terms on your behalf. By using Vallio, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Accounts

You may create an account with accurate information.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

3. Permitted Use
You may use Vallio to:

Find and join pickleball courts and games

Track scores and play-by-play in real time
-
Participate in queues, challenges, and player ratings
-
Send private messages and interact with other players
-
For venue/enterprise users: manage courts, view attendance trends, staffing, and events
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to (and not to assist or encourage anyone else to):

Cheat, manipulate scores, ratings, queues, or any game data
-
Harass, threaten, abuse, bully, impersonate, or intimidate other users
-
Post or transmit illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise harmful content
-
Use Vallio for commercial purposes without our prior written permission (except as expressly allowed for venue/enterprise users)

Access, scrape, or crawl any part of the Vallio Services in any automated way
-
Illegally or without our express written consent access, copy, or use our databases, source code, APIs, or any non-public portion of the Services
-
Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of Vallio
-
Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers (including DDoS attacks, viruses, etc.)
-
Circumvent any technical measures we use to provide the Services
-
Use Vallio if you are under the minimum age or without required parental consent
We may immediately suspend or terminate your account for any of these violations.
5. Social Features and Community Guidelines
Vallio is a social pickleball community. When using profiles, feeds, comments, photos, private messages, player tags, or any other social tools:

You are solely responsible for everything you post or send.

Do not share private or sensitive information about yourself or others.
-
Respect other players—keep it fun, friendly, and sportsmanlike.

We may remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines (available in the app or at vallio.app/guidelines).

Reporting tools are built into the app—please use them if you see abuse.
6. User Content and License
You retain ownership of any content you post (photos, messages, scores, etc.). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use that content within Vallio as needed to operate the Services. You also grant other users a license to view and interact with your content as permitted by the app.
7. Payments and Subscriptions

Some features are free; others (premium consumer features or enterprise subscriptions) require payment.

Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We do not store your full payment card details.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy.

Enterprise subscriptions are governed by the separate written agreement between Vallio and the venue/organization.
8. Enterprise and Venue Users

If you use Vallio on behalf of a venue, club, or organization:

You represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You agree to comply with all applicable privacy and data-protection laws when using player data provided by Vallio.

Any separate venue agreement we sign with you will control over these Terms in the event of conflict.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in Vallio (including code, designs, logos, trademarks, and software) belong to GameSetPickle, LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Vallio is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, the accuracy of court information, or any injuries that occur while playing pickleball.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100, whichever is greater).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Vallio at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or Vallio will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Maryland (or another location we agree to) under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. If arbitration is not enforceable, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 30 days in advance (unless the change is required immediately by law). Your continued use of Vallio after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
